Faith Formation

As a Catholic school, Incarnation’s primary purpose is to instill the values of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church to its students. Incarnation provides a distinctive religious education that operates as a mission of the Catholic Church. Incarnation is supported by The Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN.

Incarnation teachers, staff and administration work in concert with parents, guardians, and parishioners to prepare students for a lifelong journey of faith, while ensuring academic mastery, and community service with a global perspective that will give their lives meaning.

While academic excellence, leadership, safety, structure, extracurricular activities and sports are important, the Catholic identity of the school is its fundamental priority. The school has a responsibility to make certain that Catholic values and moral integrity permeate every facet of the school’s program.

Students celebrate Mass and go to Rosary once a week.  They have religion classes and pray several times daily as a student body.  The essentials of the Catholic faith are presented to students in a way that helps them learn and deepen their faith.  In the second grade, students prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist and in the eighth grade students confirm their faith through the sacrament of Confirmation.

Our vision at Incarnation is to assist families in educating their children and we know that our efforts fully prepare our young people for high school.  It is our hope that these young people will become adult leaders of integrity that establish themselves within our local communities, giving example to Catholic living and faith.
