Home and School Association
If you are looking for a great way to get involved at ICS our Home and School Association has many opportunities! Whether you are wanting to connect with other parents, volunteer with the school, or influence our school in big ways through being on the Home & School Board, there is something for everyone! The Home and School Association is our version of a PTO or PTA, and we act as the liaison between administration and families. Our jobs include assisting with planning of fundraising, school events, and the dispersal of fundraising proceeds.
Impact on ICS
The H&S works hard to continually improve and strengthen the high quality Catholic education and family atmosphere that is found at ICS. Our fundraising events provide essential financial support to our school.
In the past, fundraising proceeds have been used for new computers, 1:1 laptops for middle school students, new projectors and white boards or all preschool classrooms, new gymnasium sound system, iPads, upgrading infrastructure, teacher classroom supplies and enhancements, building and grounds enhancements/improvements, teacher appreciation activities, school hosted events and hospitality, Tuition Assistance Fund donations and many, many other things that ALL of our children benefit from.
To have Catholic education available to our children is a tremendous blessing. The impact that parents have on this school, by working with the Home and School Association, is invaluable. The successful fundraising cannot be possible without all the generous amounts of time, talent, treasure given by all of our parents.
