Preschool
Our Preschool is an academic-based program, licensed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services for children ages 1-5. Spiritual, social, cognitive, fine & gross motor skills, language, and self-help are all addressed to prepare our children for kindergarten and beyond.
Our Classroom Environment
Our preschoolers learn in a loving, Christian environment while having an engaging experience. We focus on providing children a balance of both traditional classroom experiences and time to grow through play and social interactions. Each classroom is led by a Lead and Assistant Teacher to provide quality instruction and support.
Our Curriculum
Incarnation Catholic Preschool uses the most current developmentally appropriate curriculum and practices to guide the program. The curriculum is based on Tennessee Department of Educations' Early Learning and Developmental Standards. These standards address all areas of development, including Social/ Emotional Development. Because children learn best in hands on activities, our classrooms offer a wide variety of center-based activities to challenge and engage the children. Centers include dramatic play, housekeeping, art, reader, computers, building/manipulative and sensory centers. There are multiple opportunities for active participation to promote both fine and gross motor skills.
